The townhouse is located in the heart of historic Birgu, also known as Vittoriosa, just behind St Lawrence Church and close to the waterfront.
Birgu is a historic town with narrow streets, so we recommend using the Google Maps link provided here rather than relying only on the automatic address shown by booking platforms.
If arriving by taxi, Bolt or Uber, ask to be dropped off as close as possible to St Lawrence Church / Birgu waterfront. From there, the townhouse is only a short walk away.
Parking in Birgu is public street parking and can be limited, especially during busy times. A car is not necessary for most stays, as the waterfront, restaurants, cafés and the ferry to Valletta are all nearby.
Please note that the home is a traditional townhouse arranged over multiple levels, with stairs inside the property.

Malta uses three-pin UK-style plugs. Bring a universal adapter if your devices use a different type.
Townhouse on multiple levels
The home is a traditional townhouse arranged over several floors with internal stairs. Worth keeping in mind if you have heavy luggage.
Hot water
The boiler has a limited capacity. After a long shower, hot water may need 10–15 minutes to recover. If you're sharing the townhouse, it helps to stagger shower times.
Language
English is an official language and widely spoken. Locals also speak Maltese — a few words go a long way.
Wear comfortable shoes
Birgu has narrow lanes, steps, and uneven stone streets. Comfortable footwear makes a real difference.
Birgu is walkable
The historic town is compact — waterfront, restaurants, the ferry to Valletta and most sights are within a few minutes on foot.

Ferry to Valletta
The Cospicua ↔ Valletta ferry is the quickest and most scenic way to reach Valletta — a short crossing across the Grand Harbour. Schedule below.
Bus
Buses connect Birgu with Valletta and the rest of the island. Affordable, but the ferry is usually faster for Valletta.
